He’s be very knowledgeable , fast talker but it’s because of the limited time of the tour, he actually took me to more places than itinerary and offered pix. He picked me up from the hotel and opted to do the driving tour and not walking. I told him to leave me in Harlem instead of dropping me back off. Then he texted me the subway route from where he dropped me too to the hotel ..I didn’t ask for it he just wanted to make sure I made it back to Brooklyn. He’s a cool dude

The guided tour of the Brooklyn and Dumbo neighborhoods with Fred was exceptional, as he was able, through very detailed explanations, to make us feel the atmosphere of these neighborhoods, which are rather quiet and rich in history with "Brownstone" type architecture. We immediately took to his "punchy" style, his kindness, always inclined to give us good tips for dining or discovering new places. We ended the tour at a boxing gym. It felt like we were in Rocky. Comprehensive overview into different Brooklyn neighborhoods
This is a wonderful and tour of several neighborhoods in Brooklyn, including a few that most tourists don't venture into. Dani has put together a very thoughtful (and busy) half day jaunt that showcases the history of the borough, as well as what living there now looks like for different communities of people. There is a good amount of walking and several subway/bus rides to cover a lot of ground, but there is a quick stop for a slice of pizza or snack at a cafe which is appreciated. Having lived in NYC a long time ago I was very interested in learning more about Brooklyn today (as it has changed a lot) and this was perfect. I recommend this for tourists who want to see the "real" New York and get beyond Manhattan.
