Great way to see the sights in NYC in a day
This tour was great as it mostly covered those places of interest which were not covered by the standard one day sightseeing tour on Cool New York City. Central Park was the only place that was common - and while there was some other overlap, it was only in passing. The great thing about this tour is that you get off at multiple places and have time to explore on your own. The guide is also the driver and usually remains with the vehicle while you explore on your own. However, he will make sure that you know about the place and its history before you get off the bus/minivan at each stop. My guide on this tour Kelvin was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Do note that Roosevelt Island is an additional cost and is optional. This tour is great for those into photography and history though it is slightly more oriented towards photography.

This tour was a great experience. We wanted something different to the typical NYC food tour and this was definitely what we had. The stops were unique and all delicious and we learned the history related to the area as well as each type of food we were eating. Such a fantastic time! Nick was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable of the area. The food was great (I am still thinking about the meatball sub) and the history and culture portions were incredibly interesting. It was a bit rainy the day I went so the turn out was a little low so I got to enjoy a practically private tour. Also I would highly recommend doing the brewery add-on, it was well worth it!

We had a great time with Nick in Astoria! We are regulars in the part of Astoria near the East River, but there's so much to explore and we never had gotten around to other corners. He took us to so many great spots, and knew the history of the neighborhood and the different communities who moved here. Each place we visited was wonderful and delicious, and was a family run business. What a pleasure to see Astoria through a new lens, and to learn so much about how the neighborhood was built!

I had a wonderful time for a bike tour in Brooklyn. Would highly recommend this trip. I took the tour with Jeff who is not only a great guide but also a great person, we spent close to 4 hours riding along Brooklyn’s street stopping for explanations and open discussion about the world in general. Both the explanations and the discussions were interesting and educating. On my next visit to NYC (hopefully soon) I’m planning to take another tour runs by Brooklyn Giro Bicycle Tours.

A great way to spend an afternoon in the city! Nick was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of Brooklyn and selected excellent restaurants and breweries that really captured the essence of Bushwick. He knew the answers to all of our questions and also shared some great neighborhood recommendations that we explored after the tour.
