Overview

This experience begins with a morning private helicopter flight from Manhattan to Montauk Airport. Upon arrival guests are driven to the nearby boat launch point to board their fishing vessel for a half-day charter. Pull up anchor and set out to the vast Atlantic Ocean around Montauk and Block Island, guided by the capable hands of a licensed crew of local fishermen.

Depending on the location and season, you may catch striped bass, bluefish, blackfish or fluke. You will be provided with beverages, snacks, premium lunch with local seafood on board, ice boxes for your fish and ground transportation to and from the marina.

Optional dinner at a locally owned, renowned seafood restaurant with panoramic inlet views (a la carte, not included in package price). The experience is concluded with a smooth helicopter flight back to Manhattan at the end of the day with a quick skyline tour before landing. This experience is available from May to November.

    What To Expect

    Begin your day with a private helicopter flight from Manhattan to Montauk for an unforgettable offshore fishing adventure. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to a nearby marina to board a fully equipped fishing vessel for a half-day charter.

    Set out into the Atlantic waters surrounding Montauk and Block Island with a licensed local crew dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience. Depending on the season, target prized catches such as striped bass, bluefish, blackfish, fluke, or tuna, with expert guidance every step of the way.

    Enjoy beverages, snacks, and a premium onboard lunch featuring local seafood, along with ice boxes for your catch and seamless ground transportation. An optional dinner at a renowned waterfront seafood restaurant can be arranged (à la carte).

    Return to Montauk Airport for your private helicopter flight back to Manhattan, ending with a scenic NYC skyline tour.

    If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.

    Earning rewards

    • Earned rewards will be issued in a pending state and will move to a confirmed state 24 hours after the start time of the experience.
    • Earned rewards will be available to redeem once they are no longer in a pending state.
    • For bookings that are moved to a different travel date, the rewards will be redeemable after the amended travel date.
    • If a booking where rewards were issued is canceled, the earned rewards will not be redeemable and will be moved to a canceled state.

    Redeeming rewards

    • To redeem rewards, you must be logged into your Cool Destinations account.
    • Any available rewards will be automatically applied the next time you make a booking, and their value will be deducted from your order at checkout, unless you choose not to apply them, which requires you to indicate this via the toggle switch.
