2hr 45 min trip all around Manhattan, under multiple bridges and saw all the sights from the water. Architect guide was very interesting. Boat was lovely inside we had our own table, with table and bar service and lovely toilet facilities. Option to go out onto deck also.

We had an amazing experience jet skiing this past Wednesday! The staff was incredibly nice, patient, and professional. They were punctual, helpful, and made sure we felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire experience. Everything was well organized, and the experience itself was absolutely incredible. I would definitely recommend them and can’t wait to do it again! 🌊🤩

Such a fun and unique way to experience Roosevelt Island!
I really enjoyed this self-guided tour. The tram ride itself gives you some incredible views of the East River and NYC, but the history and stories throughout the tour made the experience so much more interesting. I loved being able to explore at my own pace instead of being rushed along with a group.It’s a great experience for both visitors and New Yorkers who think they already know the city. I learned some really fascinating things about Roosevelt Island and its past, and the whole experience was easy, engaging, and well worth the price. Highly recommend adding this to your NYC itinerary!

This relaxing tour around the WHOLE island was enjoyable and informative. it was an architecture tour with so much information about the buildings. I wouldn't call it a climate change tour, though our guide did talk about Hurricane Sandy and things New York is doing to protect the city next time. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. I was a tourist and loved learning all about the architecture over time. I went with family who have lived in New York for years and they said it was a wonderful reminder of why they want to be there! You get to see all the highlights.

Great way to see the sights in NYC in a day
This tour was great as it mostly covered those places of interest which were not covered by the standard one day sightseeing tour on Cool New York City. Central Park was the only place that was common - and while there was some other overlap, it was only in passing. The great thing about this tour is that you get off at multiple places and have time to explore on your own. The guide is also the driver and usually remains with the vehicle while you explore on your own. However, he will make sure that you know about the place and its history before you get off the bus/minivan at each stop. My guide on this tour Kelvin was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Do note that Roosevelt Island is an additional cost and is optional. This tour is great for those into photography and history though it is slightly more oriented towards photography.

We did the "Urban Naturalist Tour: Abandoned Islands of the East River at Sunset" with naturalist guide Gabriel Willow. Okay, it was the Summer Solstice, Father's Day, AND the weather/sunset couldn't have been better, but the tour covered places we had never been (we live in Jersey City). We learned SO much about the history, the wildlife/birds, and the local lore from Gabriel, who is a national treasure. Education (not heavy, always entertaining), good food & drink, pretty sunset, fabulous sights - what more could we ask?

A fantastic NYC evening.
This is an amazing tour! The boat we used was based on a 1920's era yacht. There is a place to sit inside where you can enjoy cocktails, soft drinks (the first one is included with the admission) and some light snacks all provided by the crew who made sure that everyone on the ship was well taken care of. They were great.The ship leaves Chelsea Piers at 6:15 PM and sails around the lower end of Manhattan going to the East River. You get great views of the Statue of Liberty and the Freedom tower. The boat then heads up the East River where you go under The Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges. You make your way up to the east side and make several stops at small islands along the way that are home to various birds.In addition to some bird watching our guide Gabriel was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of NYC and in particularly the story of the various islands we visited. He is also quite the naturalist who knew a ton about the behavior of the birds and plantlife that we saw. The highlight included a stop near South Brother Island where we saw Great Egrets flying in to nest for the night at the same time as the Black Crowned Night Herons were leaving the island to get started. We also saw various other birds as well.When we headed back the boat wend back down the east river as it was getting dark and you get some fantastic views of the skyline as the sun goes down and the lights of the city come on.If you are a nature fan or a New York History fan and want to learn about an area of NYC that most people don't know exist then this is the tour for you.
