Great tour, given it was not a hop on hop off, but a literal tour of the boroughs with a few get out stops along the way! I was unable to walk well this trip with a knee thing, so given this type of tour, we thought it best, but it wound up being better than expected! We got great pics and got to see non-touristic places, more "real life", which is what we love. I am from the south (where we love hamburgers and hot dogs!) and have NEVER eaten a hot dog like the one in Coney! It was so, so delish and the views and history there were spectacular! Our tour guide Stalina was most helpful with everything and very knowledgeable - she had a great American Dream story of her own too! They have Spanish and English tours available. The group is large enough without being overly large or crowded. The bus is great and in great condition and very, very clean. Pick up was easy, right in front of the hotel valet section. Very nice over all! It was also very easy booking with Cool New York City. So glad we chose this tour with Amigo Tours using Cool New York City!

I took a random Tuesday off work and decided on a guided tour through Central Park. I’ve been through the park hundreds of times but learned so much today from Cherie that I felt compelled to write this review. Cherie knows her stuff and shared trivia about places and things in the park that I never would have learned otherwise. The small group and unhurried pace (we did half the park in about 2.5 hours) were just what I was looking for.

Mark was the perfect guide for our first day in Midtown Manhattan. He loves this city and it showed every moment of the tour. Note that there is only one building in which you go inside to see an interior space (all of the other stops on the tour are exterior only)

The best tour company and tour guide ever!
I booked this tour for a group of 55+ empty nesters which I run for several affiliated synagogues in Nassau County. The people at Untapped (primary contact was Justin Rivers) were extremely efficient, polite and flexible and accommodated my needs (of which there were many) completely. Questions and requests were handled extremely quickly. And our tour guide, Richard Soden, was very personable and knowledgeable. Not only did he share thousands of facts and stories but he also came with a laptop filled with great old photographs of interiors and exteriors of many mansion. AND, when we asked numerous questions which were not directly related to the Fifth Avenue mansions, he answered every question so thoroughly that it seemed like he had a microchip implanted in his head or that he had an AI feed. I cannot say enough about this tour and every single person in my group felt exactly the same way. Thank you Untapped for a really great experience.

I usually stay away from midtown due to the crowds, but this tour was worth all the people-dodging! I highly recommend this for anyone ranging from fresh to NYC to a grizzled New Yorker. Super fun.
