This year was our fourth annual Bike Trip with friends. We had not heard of the Empire Trail, but Gotham convinced us. They were 150% right. The trail is wonderful, shaded paths through parks, old trellis bridges, rolling farmlands and food that is much better than the more prestigious GAP, C&O and Katy. Gotham did an amazing job coordinating all our needs. Most importantly the bikes were great, which really matters when you are riding over 300 miles. I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.

As complete beginners, we learned so much and felt welcomed every step of the way.The experience was both educational and exciting, and Hermant's passion and expertise made it truly special. A love of history, a background in law enforcement in NYC and so many great stories. Plus, he fed us! We started with a spaghetti lunch and ended with a most delicious cannoli. It was a good day!

It was a fascinating tour and I never realized how beautiful the terminal was however, we were hoping for more true crimes tour but our poor tour guide had to cancel last minutes due to a family emergency. Our replacement tour guide, who was knowledgeable and fantastic, gave us the history tour rather than the darkside tour. Slightly disappointing for my kids who wanted the true crimes side but still a great tour.

The tour lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes, which felt like the perfect amount of time—long enough to enjoy multiple stops without feeling rushed or too full.Each burger stop offered something different, from classic styles to more creative takes, and the portions were generous. Everything was well organized and flowed smoothly from one location to the next.Our guide was engaging, knowledgeable, and shared fun insights about the restaurants and the neighborhood, which added a lot to the experience. It felt relaxed, social, and very well run.Whether you’re a visitor or a local, this tour delivers great food, good storytelling, and solid value for the price. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who loves burgers.

Loved our private walking tour!
Liz was an awesome tour guide on our private walking tour of downtown and the 9/11 Memorial and made our tour fun despite the rain and cold wind. She had the perfect place for us to pop in to for a bathroom break and to warm up a little. She was extremely knowledgeable about everything we saw and explained in a way our 11 and 12 year old could understand. This is our second tour with Top Dog tours and we would definitely use them again!
