This tour was a great way to spend an afternoon. Right off the bat, the tour guide's logo on his business card caught my eye — it has a real cool, pulpy, noir feel to it, almost like something straight out of The Shadow. It set the tone perfectly for what turned out to be a walk through some genuinely dark and fascinating history.Our guide was a former NYPD detective, which added a whole extra layer to the experience. He wasn't just reciting facts — he brought a real investigator's eye to the stories, and it was clear this history meant something to him personally.We kicked things off at John's on 12th Street, the site of the 1922 Ambush — standing there while he laid out what happened made the history feel immediate in a way you don't get from just reading about it. From there, the tour wound its way toward Little Italy, with stops along the way that really added to the atmosphere. One standout: a building with steps out front where, if you look closely, you can still make out a faded Italian flag — a small, easy-to-miss trace of a spot where the mob once operated. Details like that make all the difference — it's one thing to hear the stories, another to stand in the actual places where they happened, hunting for the little clues history left behind.The pacing was great, the storytelling was engaging, and the route itself felt well thought out, tying together different chapters of the city's history rather than just hopping between random landmarks. Highly recommend this for anyone interested in true crime, local history, or just a well-told story with some real atmosphere behind it — especially with a guide who's actually worked cases like these.

My wife and I took this bike ride through Central Park and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide, Antwan, is super friendly and gave us plenty of interesting history on the park. The tour includes time to dismount & explore areas, like the Belvedere Castle and other landmarks. This is a winner.

Great tour and excellent guide
What a superb tour. Can’t sing the praises of our guide, Braden, highly enough. He was extremely polite yet easy going and conducted the tour in a light hearted manner. His knowledge of Grand Central was very thorough and he showed us to parts of the station we would never have found on our own. Once we had completed the tour of Grand Central, Braden escorted us to the Empire State Building and pointed out places of interest on the way. Very informative indeed. Once we arrived at the Empire State, Braden gave us our tickets and pointed us in the right direction and left us there. I initially thought that our tickets only allowed us to go part of the way up but I was wrong. We had the additional ticket which allows us to go to the observation deck on the 102nd floor. The views from the top of the Empire State Building are truly amazing and not to be missed. In a city that is very expensive, I would have to say this tour was excellent value for money and would certainly recommend it. There is a bit of walking involved but nothing most people couldn’t handle. Having an excellent guide like Braden helps too. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We booked a guided tour of Grand Central Terminal and at the end of the tour we went up to the Summit. Our guide Lark was excellent, very clear, and made us appreciate the beauty of the station. At the beginning of the tour, she sent me a text in Italian with the same content as the tour (which was in English). This allowed me to understand all the info well even when my English faltered. At the end of the tour at the station, she accompanied us to the entrance of the Summit. From there on, you continue on your own. Very evocative experience, we went up at sunset and stayed for a couple of hours to enjoy the view. Beautiful experience

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This electric scooter tour through Central Park was absolutely amazing! Riding the electric scooters made it such a fun and effortless way to explore the park while seeing so many beautiful landmarks. Our guide was knowledgeable, entertaining, and shared interesting facts and stories throughout the tour, making the experience even more enjoyable.This was by far my favorite way to see Central Park. We covered so much more than we could have on foot (or pedaling a bicycle) and we had an incredible time doing it. If you’re visiting New York City, I highly recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip and so much fun!

She genuinely seems to enjoy helping people find clothes that make them feel good, and her honest feedback gave me more confidence in my choices.She’s also warm, fun, and easy to spend time with, which made the experience much more enjoyable. Shopping has never been one of my favorite activities, but Suzanne made it far less overwhelming and much more productive. I left with clothes I really like and a better sense of what works for me.
