If you want to go back in time and really get a sense of what Lower Manhattan was like during the Dutch period then you must take this tour with Ann. It was easy to follow along and the different characters we're introduced to was very cool. The tour far surpassed my expectations. Can't wait to go on another tour with Ann.

John was a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable about NYC history as well as the haunted spots we visited. The tour was a fun mix of seeing spooky spots, local history, as well as visiting a variety of local bars for drinks which was a great way for the tour group to mingle. Our group was a mix of visitors and locals which was fun. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to visitors and locals alike.

I went on the night death tour and had a good time. The tour guide was well-informed, personable, and fun. She was always open to questions, asides, and a few good laughs. It was all-in-all very enjoyable. I would not describe the tour as particularly macabre or ghostly (in fact I don't remember ever touching on spooky or paranormal topics - which was fine by me), but more just factual information about the who, how, why, etc. of death in an historical/sociological/anthropological context.

Me and my mom did the flying dress experience in the Dumbo area in Brooklyn. It was so much fun. We had an awesome time. Jona is the absolute best. She is friendly and welcoming and a true professional to work with. She goes above and beyond. Most of all she makes you feel comfortable and confident. This tour throws you straight into the alleyways of history with the outlaws, hustlers, and political schemers who actually built the bones of the city—one bribe, brawl, and backroom deal at a time.Our guide was part historian, part stand-up comic, and part time-traveling gossip columnist. She made 19th-century scandals feel juicier than anything on Bravo. I laughed, I learned, and I left slightly suspicious that I might be related to a corrupt Tammany Hall boss.This isn’t your average “and here’s where Hamilton ate a sandwich” tour. It’s for people who want to hear the messy, glorious, rebellious truth about New York City’s rise. 10/10 would bribe a city official to do it again.
