We had a fantastic four-hour walking tour through New York, packed with highlights, interesting stories and fascinating insights into the city.The tour took us through DUMBO, across the Brooklyn Bridge, past the Municipal Building and through the Financial District and Ground Zero. We also used the subway several times, which made the experience feel even more authentic and gave us a glimpse of everyday New York life.One of the highlights was Grand Central Terminal, where our guide shared plenty of fascinating details about the architecture and history of the building. Throughout the tour, we learned so much about New York’s architecture, history and the stories behind the places we were seeing.Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, professional and entertaining. There were lots of great stories and interesting facts, and it never felt like we were simply being taken from one sight to another. The tour was very well organized and the four hours were filled with a great variety of experiences.To top it all off, we stopped at a traditional pub, which was a perfect opportunity to relax, have a drink and continue chatting about New York.Overall, it was a very full and varied program with an excellent guide. If you want to see many of New York’s iconic sights while also hearing the stories and background that bring the city to life, we can highly recommend this tour!

Had another excellent tour with Dom, Made in Brooklyn Tours, to see the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn. Full of history, context and exposure to the hidden gems and unique characters of the neighborhood, such as the Pinball Museum, Widow Jane Bourbon Distillery, Golden Anvil Sculpture Garden and artist Tony Cuonzo, Steve's Key Lime Pie, Red Hook Winery, a lived-in barge and Waterfront Museum, and more. If you like tours that are interesting, informative and entertaining, Dom and Made in Brooklyn tours is the best.

We had an amazing experience as we were part of the contest and we’re the winners of whisper yes and so although we had other activities included,we first got a tour of Grand Central and I learned information and that I didn’t know like the size of the statues that are outside on Grand Central as well as a tour of the inside tennis courts. It was a wonderful experience, then came the bonus which was being able to have a three course meal as well as a special drink afterwards in another location, which made the memories even that more amazing Zizi was beyond amazing in catering everything and putting this one in a lifetime experience come true I am so thank.

My friend and I joined Harlem One Stop Walking Tours for a Monday evening 'Harlem Swing Stroll and Dance class'. It was great fun. The lady who led the tour was a long-time local and provided colour and handy information about the area's past and present. She then took us to a swing class which was full of locals and led by a very patient teacher - it was a great way to get a real taste of Harlem and meet many interesting people who were generous with their time and their patience for this two-left-footed lass! Thoroughly recommend. We booked our tour through New York Go City pass. Only regret is we didn't get to take any of their other tours as this was our last day of the pass!
