This was my tenth (estimate, as I have done so many) waling tour with Bowery Boys. Each one is outstanding. Robert, our tour guide for this tour was extremely well versed with the Chinatown scene, both through personal experience and his research. He made the trip entertaining, while constantly providing us with a wealth of information. He even shared his mother's favorite stores to shop that have the best prices! The timing at each food stop was very appropriate. The food was great and while eating Robert continued to share a wealth of information. Despite being a lifetime New Yorker, there was so much I learned from this tour. The 8 of us on the tour became a very cohesive group, despite the fact that many of us did not know each other prior to the tour.I will continue to take Bowery Boys tours and listen to their podcasts as clearly everyone associated with the company truly care about what they are doing and love what they are doing. If you are not in the New York area, at least listen to their podcasts??

Great tour! I've been on many food tours in NYC and this one stands out. Brian doesn't just have a great knowledge of the city, he really knows his food and the people who make it. You get to eat all the city's classic foods, and he has managed to find the best examples of all of them. He takes you to neighborhoods you've heard of, as well as cool areas a little more off the radar. You'll really get to know this city while eating yummy food!

Brian was very knowledgeable on the places he took us. It was great to have someone local who knew the history of the buildings and other sites. He was a breath of fresh air in a city we had never been too, and took his time answering questions about different places. We were able to spend quite a bit of time with him. Overall, I definitely recommend Brian as your tour guide, you will not be disappointed.

Highly recommend this personal tour with Mike sharing his brother Billy's story at Ground Zero.
I highly recommend booking this tour with Michael Burke at Ground Zero for a very personal experience. We got to know Mike and his brother "Billy" William F Burke who was a true hero fire fighter that gave his life saving others on that September day. We will always remember Billy on 9/11 and celebrate the efforts of those that gave all that day.

Had another excellent tour with Dom, Made in Brooklyn Tours, to see the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn. Full of history, context and exposure to the hidden gems and unique characters of the neighborhood, such as the Pinball Museum, Widow Jane Bourbon Distillery, Golden Anvil Sculpture Garden and artist Tony Cuonzo, Steve's Key Lime Pie, Red Hook Winery, a lived-in barge and Waterfront Museum, and more. If you like tours that are interesting, informative and entertaining, Dom and Made in Brooklyn tours is the best.

We took our 2 teenage children to this tour and the experience provided an incredible level of depth into the events of 9/11 and the heroism displayed so many brave FDNY individuals. The stories we heard provided detail that we had never heard elsewhere. It was extremely moving and left us amazed by the actions of so many 9/11 heroes. This experience is best suited for people who already have a fair bit of knowledge about 9/11 and are seeking a deeper understanding.

My favorite themes were New York before, during, and after the American Revolution and the African Burial Ground Memorial. Our tour guide, Ed, was amazing and his wealth of knowledge made this tour something I will never forget. I highly recommend the Walk up Broadway tour!
