I really enjoyed this self-guided tour. The tram ride itself gives you some incredible views of the East River and NYC, but the history and stories throughout the tour made the experience so much more interesting. I loved being able to explore at my own pace instead of being rushed along with a group.It’s a great experience for both visitors and New Yorkers who think they already know the city. I learned some really fascinating things about Roosevelt Island and its past, and the whole experience was easy, engaging, and well worth the price. Highly recommend adding this to your NYC itinerary!

My husband and I booked the 2 hour private walking tour of Central Park. , Edward, was the perfect guide to show us some of the highlights of the park. He is a native New Yorker and his love of the city shined through his presentation. As we asked questions he provided context and historical facts and stories. It was a perfect Spring day and Edward was the perfect tour guide for us. If you are considering a walking tour , request Edward, you won’t be disappointed !

I’d absolutely recommend to edge to anybody visiting New York for the first time. It’s about £35 each for an hour, but like I said, for your first time visiting to see the city from above it’s worth it. Definitely check the weather to try and book it so you’ve got a lovely clear day! From below the observatory looks quite small but actually it’s pretty spacious. The staff are lovely & helpful and everyone we met was super helpful to take pictures and also considerate of everybody around them so everyone has their fair share of the views and photo opportunities. There’s also a few picture spots inside of the building which is also pretty cool to check out. There’s also a cafe, gift shop and ice cream cart inside.
