The New York Botanical Garden is such a great escape from the city. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and expansive, and once you’re inside, it’s easy to forget you’re still in New York City.We accessed the Garden using Culture Pass, which made the experience even better. Getting there from Manhattan was easy using public transportation, and it’s well worth the trip to the Bronx.There’s so much to explore, and we had a lot of fun just walking the grounds and taking everything in. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and completely different from the pace of Manhattan. A fantastic way to spend a few hours and one of those NYC experiences that both visitors and locals should check out.

Twice a year, the zoo has a private Members Night, where members and their families have the zoo all to ourselves. For several hours we get to go on the monorail, walk the tree top walk, ride the carousel and take guided tours of all the exhibitions.It is a nice way to see the whole zoo without the huge crowds although this is a big event and all the members create quite a crowd.I really enjoyed the Congo exhibition and walking through Astor Court, the original part of the zoo. The monorail ride lets you see the whole zoo in a short period of time and you see many animals.The gorillas and the giraffes were very interesting to watch and what is nice about this zoo is there is plenty of room for the animals to move around and live.It really was a nice night out in the zoo.

I had such a wonderful experience taking an abstract painting class with Lee. He is incredibly talented, but what really stood out to me was how patient and genuinely caring he is as a teacher. He has a way of making you feel completely at ease, no matter your skill level, and he gives thoughtful, encouraging guidance without ever being intimidating.Lee creates an environment that feels both inspiring and supportive, which made it easy to relax and really enjoy the creative process. His studio is also warm, inviting, and thoughtfully set up in a way that makes you want to stay and paint for hours.I left the class feeling energized, more confident, and excited to keep painting. I can’t recommend Lee highly enough.

I've done a lot of organized bike rides over the years and this was truly one of the best. Lucas and Laura are a great team. The information provided prior to the ride, as well as the day of the ride, was well organized. The rest stops, lunch and the final stop at Captain Lawrence Brewery were all very well planned. I highly recommend doing this ride.
