Gordon, our tour guide was awesome. He provided, prior to our tour, an outline of what we were to expect for the evening of Jazz. We had the opportunity to experience some great music. We saw and heard some great up and coming artists, (Saniyah, Danayband). We had the opportunity to visit 3 spots, which we would not have visited on our own. At the start of the tour, we walked a few blocks while Gordon provided information on the history of Jazz in Harlem . Gordon was great, he provided communication, before and after the Jazz tour, including background details on the singers and musicians/bands. Gordon did inform us, before hand, of $30 minimum at one of the bars that we visited, which was not listed in the tour booking. I would highly recommend this tour!!

Dennis was a wonderful tour guide. His first-hand account and personal photos from the days/weeks immediately following 9/11 were informative and moving. We learned a lot about the original architecture of the towers, his experience as a first responder, and the many ways the new architecture of the site honors what came before.

We've done MANY tours with Manhattan Walking Tour and they've all been excellent! Every guide we've had has been knowledgeable and friendly. It has always been a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this company when you're in NY. In fact, I just sent their website to a friend planning a trip this winter. Most recently we did a combination the Chinatown food tour and Downtown/Lower Manhattan with Jake. Jake is so much fun- he knows so much about the food and my son enjoyed talking to him about the Broadway show we had seen the night before and what should be on our list for our next trip! They advertise that it's like being shown around the city by a friend and this is true every time! In the past we've also done Hell's Kitchen, The Highline, Central Park, and a few others-lol!

Gordon, our tour guide, was very attentive, informative, and friendly. He kept us informed the day of the tour and even provided me with suggestions of things to do in the area as we were early. Gordon is extremely knowledgeable about all things jazz!I was very impressed at the end of the night as Gordon advised the owner of the last venue that it was my husband’s birthday. The band sang a personal happy birthday song to him which was unexpected and quite a memorable experience! Great tour!

I really enjoyed the Mafia tour with Jay. It was very informative and interesting with lots of stops and snippets of history and storoes about the mob around NYC and also stories about her time with the NYPD. The tour started with a delicious meal of meatballs and spaghetti and ended with canoli pastries also delicious

We took the « Discover the Birthplace of NYC » walking tour with Dave and it was spectacular. He was very knowledgeable and toured us around the most historical areas of New Amsterdam/New York City. He had old photos of some of the areas we visited to provide perspective of the times. A great tour for people interested in history and and opportunity to see some of the few remaining sites of the original settlement.

Nick was a lovely tour guide. He’s super personable and goes out of his way to draw all the tour participants into the discussion - our 10year old was having a day and Nick was patient and kind to him. The pizza was on point and we got to try some places we have seen on YouTube as well as some we didn’t know - that last one was unexpectedly tasty! Would recommend if you want to get out of Manhattan and get into Williamsburg for a bit.

Guided tour of the Financial District with Marie. Marie is a very pleasant, dynamic guide who is easy to talk to and attentive to our expectations. A French expat and New Yorker by adoption for many years, she is an official guide and knows how to share her attachment to this extraordinary city where anything is possible! She knows all the stories and anecdotes that have marked the area perfectly, and it is captivating to listen to her recount the history punctuated by her personal notes, which are sometimes amusing and always relevant. The hours pass quickly. The kilometers add up, fatigue sets in, but the joy of visiting Manhattan is worth it. You can take the "Voyages en Français" excursions or more specifically "New York en Français" with complete confidence. We recommend it without hesitation.
